JBL Bar 1000 MK2

The JBL Bar 1000 MK2 is designed for users who want a more complete home cinema setup without building a traditional wired surround system. Instead of using multiple permanently connected speakers around the room, the system combines a main soundbar, detachable wireless surround speakers, and a separate wireless subwoofer.

As a result, the setup feels simpler to install while still delivering a wider and more spacious sound experience for movies, gaming, sports, and streaming content.

True 7.1.4-Channel Dolby Atmos Sound

The Bar 1000 MK2 supports true Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio. It uses dedicated up-firing speakers in both the main soundbar and the detachable surround speakers.

Because of this, overhead sound effects feel more natural during supported movies and games. Explosions, background effects, and movement across scenes become easier to follow compared to standard TV speakers.

At the same time, JBL MultiBeam 3.0 technology helps spread sound more evenly across the room without requiring additional front speakers.

Detachable Wireless Surround Speakers

One of the main differences between the Bar 1000 MK2 and smaller soundbars is the detachable surround speakers. Instead of relying only on virtual surround processing, the system includes real rear speakers that can be placed behind the listener.

During movies and gaming sessions, this creates a more realistic surround effect. However, the speakers do not require permanent wiring across the room.

When not in use, they reconnect directly onto the main soundbar for charging and storage. As a result, the setup remains cleaner and easier to manage in apartments and living rooms.

960W Output with 10-Inch Wireless Subwoofer

The system delivers up to 960W total output together with a dedicated 10-inch wireless subwoofer. Compared to compact all-in-one soundbars, bass feels noticeably deeper during movies, games, and music playback.

In addition, the higher output allows the system to maintain fuller room sound at higher listening volumes without sounding harsh or compressed.

PureVoice 2.0 Dialogue Enhancement

JBL includes PureVoice 2.0 dialogue enhancement technology to improve speech clarity during movies and TV shows.

This becomes especially useful during action-heavy scenes where background effects can sometimes make voices harder to hear clearly.

HDMI eARC and Modern Connectivity

The Bar 1000 MK2 supports HDMI eARC together with 4K Dolby Vision pass-through for compatible TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming devices.

Because of this, the soundbar works more naturally with newer entertainment setups while still supporting modern audio and video formats.

Wireless Music Streaming

The soundbar supports Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect, and Wi-Fi music streaming.

Users can stream music directly from smartphones, tablets, and supported streaming platforms without relying only on TV audio. Meanwhile, the JBL One app allows EQ adjustment, calibration settings, and software updates from compatible mobile devices.

Automatic Room Calibration

The built-in room calibration system adjusts sound performance based on room layout and speaker positioning. As a result, audio remains more balanced in different room sizes and furniture layouts.
